Local Roots. Practical Experience.

Meet Chris

Chris brings practical leadership, deep local roots, and firsthand business experience to his campaign. For 25 years, Chris worked in security management at a major Toronto hospital. That experience shaped how he approaches responsibility, accountability, and decision-making in high-pressure environments.Chris has lived in Clarington for over 12 years with his fiancée, Jill, and is the father of three daughters. He understands that residents need safe neighbourhoods, strong local services, responsible growth, and a Council that listens. For the past 8 years, Chris has owned and operated Brewer’s Pantry in downtown Bowmanville. That experience has given him a direct view into the challenges facing entrepreneurs and main-street businesses in Clarington.Chris understands the balance families and local businesses are looking for: keeping the community’s character while making smart decisions about growth, services, and the future.

Why I'm running

Through Brewer's Pantry, I have built relationships with so many business owners, local artists, community builders, and families who care deeply about Clarington. These connections are what I love about our community, and they are the reason I would be honoured to represent Ward 2 on Council.Clarington is growing, and we need representation that will manage that growth thoughtfully and responsibly. My priorities as Local Councillor for Ward 2 will be to:

  • Protect Clarington’s charm and keep local identity strong.

  • Champion growth that makes sense, with infrastructure, services, and planning that can keep up.

  • Support local businesses who need a Council that understands their realities.

  • Make sure residents feel heard before decisions are made.
